Arthi Agarwal (also Arti Agarwal, Aarti Agarwa; born March 5 in New Jersey, U.S.) is an American -Indian actress in Tollywood.

She was brought up in New Jersey until the age of 14.

Sunil Shetty invited her to dance on stage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA when she was barely 14.

Big B who was there too encouraged her father to take her to Bollywood.

As a result, she did her first film Paagalpan in Hindi in 2001 but it was not a hit.

She then went to Tollywood. She did her first Tollywood movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav with Telugu actor Venkatesh in 2001, which was more successful.

On March 23, 2005 at around 2 AM, Agarwal attempted suicide by drinking bathroom cleaning liquid due to rumors about herself and fellow actor Tarun.

She was discharged from the Apollo Hospital at 1:30pm on the same date in Jubliee Hills, Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh.

On February 15, 2006 while she was coming back from dinner to her apartment, she fell while climbing the stairs, but made it to her second-floor apartment, where her father gave her painkillers.

When she woke up the next day, her father called a doctor, who advised him to take her to hospital; she then underwent surgery at an hospital in Banjara Hills.Arthi’s younger sister Adithi has also joined in films.

Adithi acted in Allu Arjun's Gangotri.Arti Agarwal was married to Ujwal Kumar at Secunderabad on November 22, 2007.

Born and brought up in Kuttappuzha, Thiruvalla, Kerala.


she has not family background neither she is from the family of actors! She was not a model or participated in beauty pageants like Trisha or Namitha. She was not known to anybody until she was introduced by Lohithadas in Malayalam movie Soothradharan in 2001.

CHIRANJEEVI ENTRY TO THE TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY:Chiranjeevi, the Megastar of Tollywood today, was born on 22nd August of 1955 in Mogalturu, a small village in 'West Godavari' District in Andhra Pradesh to Sri Venkat Rao and Anjana Devi.

He grew up in his native village with his grand parents, while his family was elsewhere because of his father's occupation. The sense of discipline and hard work which he still embraces were introduced at a very young age in his life and the tough childhood he had, being the eldest in his family, have helped him to handle many such events of higher proportion with great expertise in the later stages of his life.Little did he imagine, even in the wildest of his dreams that he would, one day, be a Megastar and rule the Telugu Film Industry.
